Privacy Policy

Ringlink lets you turn a phone number, username, or scanned QR code into a chat on messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, WeChat, Signal, Viber, Zalo, iMessage, FaceTime, SMS, or a phone call — without saving the number to your contacts.

• On-device data. Recent numbers, scanned cards, your own name-card design, and theme preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
• Shared cards. If you create a shareable name card, the fields you put on it (name, title, company, phone, email, photo, socials) are stored on our backend so the share link works.
• Feedback. If you send feedback from the Settings page, we store what you write and, if signed in, your account ID.
• Approximate country. We call a public IP-geolocation service to guess your country so the right dialing code is pre-selected. We do not store your IP address.
• Cookies & ads. Advertising and analytics partners may set cookies — see Section 5.

To run the features you're using (send a message, load a shared card, reply to feedback), keep the service secure, and — with your consent — show relevant ads. We do not sell your personal data.

Local device data stays until you clear it (Settings → clear history, or clearing browser data). Shared cards remain until you delete them. Feedback is retained while it is useful to us or as required by law.

Ringlink uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. For more on how Google uses data, read Google's policy.

We rely on the following processors to run Ringlink:

• Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, storage, edge functions)
• Google AdSense (advertising)
• A public IP-geolocation API for country detection

Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email cs@ringlink.app and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Ringlink is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as Ringlink evolves. The "Effective" date at the top will change when we do.
